What is your major?

My major is forensic science with a concentration in toxicology. I also have a minor in environmental justice and sustainability.

Where do you hope to be in 5 years?

In five years, I hope to be working in a forensic or environmental toxicology lab, using science to protect vulnerable communities. I want to contribute to research or investigations that address environmental and public health risks. I also hope to mentor others who are passionate about science and justice.

What high school did you go to?

I went to Norwalk High School, located in Northeast Ohio.

Why John Jay?

I chose to attend John Jay because it offers the top public forensic science program in the country. Its prime location in New York City also opens the door to countless opportunities. Moving out of my small hometown to attend John Jay has been a transformative experience. I’ve met incredible people, immersed myself in diverse cultures and perspectives, and gained access to opportunities I wouldn’t have had otherwise.
