Tour Guide at CUNY John Jay College Criminal Justice

Class of 2026
Hometown: Chittagong, Bangladesh
Major: Political Science
Concentration: Dispute Resolution
My major is Political Science.
I graduated from John Bowne High School.
I chose John Jay because its renowned programs in law, criminal justice, and public affairs align with my goal of becoming a child advocate lawyer. Beyond academics, John Jay has given me the space to lead and advocate—whether through organizing mental health events, contributing to newsletters, or serving as Chief of Staff to the Student Council President. It’s a community where I can grow both as a future legal professional and as a changemaker.
The realest answer? In five years, I might still be figuring things out—juggling law school, healing from old wounds, and trying not to burn out while chasing big goals. I’ll probably still question myself at times, but I’ll keep showing up, learning, and doing the work anyway. I just want to be in a place where I’m growing, not settling, and finally starting to feel like I belong in the rooms I walk into.
